چکیده

در پژوهش حاضر تأثیر قدرت و جنسیت بر اتخاذ رویکردهای بی‌ادبی و برخورد با آن در نمایشنامة افول اثر اکبر رادی (1386[1342])، بر اساس مدل بی‌ادبی دِرِک بوسفیلد (2008)، مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. بوسفیلد مدل خود را براساس مدل بی‌ادبی کالپپر (1996، 2005) و کالپپر و دیگران (2003) تعریف کرده است، اما در آن تغییراتی به عمل آورده تا بتواند واکنش مخاطبان را در برخورد با بی‌ادبی نیز بررسی کند. هدف انواع بی‌ادبی صدمه زدن به وجهۀ مخاطب است. بر اساس مدل بی‌ادبی بوسفیلد، فردی که مورد بی‌ادبی قرارگرفته می‌تواند سکوت کند یا واکنشی تدافعی یا تهاجمی از خود نشان دهد. این واکنش‌ها بر اساس جنسیت و قدرت افراد متغیر است. یافته‌های این پژوهش حاکی از آن است که شخصیت‌های فرادست و فرودست، به ترتیب، از بی‌ادبی مستقیم و بی‌ادبی غیرمستقیم استفاده می‌کنند؛ شخصیت‌های فرادست و مردان نسبت به بی‌ادبی واکنش تهاجمی دارند؛ و شخصیت‌های فرودست و زنان نسبت به آن واکنش تدافعی نشان می‌دهند. از نظر استفاده از استراتژی بی‌ادبی، میان زنان و مردان تفاوت معناداری وجود ندارد.
